Bowora is the current name and active home of the startup platform formerly known as Best of Web. The old bestofweb.site homepage and submission page now display a migration notice stating that Best of Web is now Bowora, while Bowora's live homepage invites founders to list startups and lets visitors browse persistent startup profiles. Those profiles can support product discovery, founder identity, stars and written reviews, a recurring Weekly Board, optional MRR verification, perks, affiliate-program details, fundraising signals, and an Open to offers status. This is an ongoing startup directory and founder network, not a one-day launch calendar.
The working submission gateway is https://bowora.com/dashboard/startups?new=true. A logged-out visit redirects to Bowora's login page with the startup-dashboard URL preserved as the callback, and the Terms of Service explicitly say that startup submissions require an account with accurate information. New users can register with Google or Apple, or provide first name, last name, email, and password. The former https://www.bestofweb.site/submit route points toward a Bowora /submit URL that currently returns 404, so makers should use the live dashboard gateway rather than the retired address.
Bowora's current submission guide tells makers to prepare the startup name, public website, tagline, category, short description, a high-resolution square logo, and a clear 1200 by 630 thumbnail. Product screenshots, a demo video, app links, and social links can be added when available. Founder details are needed only when founders should appear publicly; company facts such as year founded, team size, stage, and funding history are optional. During onboarding, the maker chooses Growing, Open to offers, or Fundraising, can add an optional Bowora-only perk or affiliate program, confirms founder information, may write an optional first comment, reviews the public preview, and then selects a publication method. Revenue verification is optional for Growing but required for Open to offers and Fundraising.
Pricing is freemium and the choices affect backlink treatment. Bowora's FAQ, reviewed against its product flow and updated June 30, 2026, says a startup listing is free when the founder places a Bowora badge, or costs $1 without the badge. It separately advertises a Verified offer at $5 per year for as many as ten startup listings, with a do-follow link included; advertising and other promotion are priced separately. A live standard profile at https://bowora.com/ahasend.com currently renders its primary vendor link with rel="nofollow noopener". Founders seeking followed-link equity should therefore choose the paid Verified offer instead of assuming that a standard free or $1 listing is dofollow.
Publication is subject to review rather than guaranteed. Bowora says common rejection reasons include a non-working website, missing product information, copied content, misleading claims, low-quality images, or a listing that is not ready for public use. Its Terms prohibit illegal, misleading, infringing, or harmful content and reject categories including adult services, gambling, MLM or pyramid schemes, unauthorized pharmaceuticals, weapons, surveillance products, hate or extremist content, misinformation or AI-generated junk sites, non-compliant cryptocurrency services, high-risk finance, impersonation, scams, clones, and reskinned software without original value. Bowora reserves sole discretion to reject or remove content and publishes no fixed review turnaround. Submitters retain ownership but grant Bowora a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display and promote the submitted material.
