Most tutoring management platforms stop at the business layer — bookings, invoices, maybe a parent login. ClassQuill goes further: it's the only platform where a tutor assigns homework, a student answers it, and the platform grades it, automatically, with feedback on the working, not just whether the final number was right.

That distinction matters more than it sounds. In maths and science, a correct answer reached through the wrong method still represents a real gap, and manually reviewing every student's working across every session is the part of tutoring that never scales. ClassQuill's auto-marking engine reads the working, not just the final answer, and flags exactly where a student's method breaks down. Tutors see the pattern across a whole cohort instead of reading forty exercise books by hand.

Everything else a tutoring business needs runs alongside it. Multi-tutor scheduling handles recurring sessions, ad hoc bookings, and the reschedules that come with student calendars. Invoicing and payroll are generated automatically from the same session data, so nothing gets re-entered between the billing side and the tutor-pay side. Parents get a portal showing session notes, homework results, and progress over time, not a monthly receipt with no context.

Tutoring centres can run the entire platform under their own brand — logo, colour scheme, domain — so the technology stays invisible to the families they serve.

ClassQuill was built out of running an actual tutoring company (EquateIt, Melbourne), after trying every existing scheduling and invoicing tool on the market and finding that none of them touched what actually happens inside a session. Curriculum-aligned to VCE, WACE, and HSC standards, and used by tutoring businesses managing anywhere from a handful of students to 100+ tutors.
